He married Amelia EDWARDS 2nd August 1890 at Long Crendon.George was counted in a census in 1871 and 1881 in Long Crendon, Buckingham, England. He was employed as farm labourer then bricklayers labourer in 1891 census , From 1888-1899 he served the Royal Artillery first as a full time soldier then from 1890 onwards in Reserve. In the mid 1890’s the family moved to Leicestershire where George worked as a stone quarryman between the period 1894-1896 and by 1899 was a coachman to Lord Burnham in Beaconsfield . George was alive but not at home (Beaconsfield) for the 1901 census because he was with the Imperial Yeomanry in South Africa see newspaper article in scrapbook. He died quite young on 14th February 1911 at Burts Lane, Long Crendon leaving Amelia a widow of no means with seven children.

30. William John BLINCOE [8177] (Jonah , John )
Born in 1876 in Long Crendon, Buckingham, England. William was counted in a census in 1881-1901 in Long Crendon and Coalville. He was employed as general labourer in 1901. He died in mysterious circumstances because he was recognised as a soldier of WW1. Howver apart for the Chearsly memorials no other service records have been found. He was 38 yrs of age when war broke out and 43 yrs when he died, was he perhraps a reservist and died of old age. His father Jonah was alive when he died and so may have pursued the memorials on his behalf.
31.Louisa Savinah BLINCOE [4146] (Jonah , John ) was born in 1883 in Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire. Louisa was employed as Domestic Housemaid in 1901. She was counted in a census in 1901 in Willesden Middlesex. She returned to Long Crendon before 1905. In 1908 she moved to Chearsley, Bucks and lived there until C1955 . She died at 24 Friars Furlong, Long Crendon in 1967 age 83.
