Alfred is the most researched of the 19th Century emigrants, who at 18 sought out his future in what was then undeveloped Queensland and lived to leave a dynasty of Australian Blinco’s . Most Australian Blincos know a bit about Alfred and his brother Henry (a Western Australia pioneer) but little is known about Joseph Blinco a cousin who emigrated to Melbourne at the same time.
